Dr. Corey Alexander, MBA, Ed.D. (CEO, Performance coach)
Dr. Corey Alexander is a former two-sport athlete and graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in political science. He received his MBA from Western Governors University and his Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University. Dr. Alexander brings 10+ years of experience as an athlete and professional speaker to CSBH. He works with teams and individuals, including athletes and coaches for performance coaching, leadership development, and operational analysis.
Dr. Nicole Alexander, PsyD (Clinical Psychologist)
Dr. Nicole Alexander is a clinical psychologist that specializes in neuropsychology and sports behavioral health. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan from early childhood through late adulthood in various settings. She has conducted comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for retired NFL players through the NFLPA and baseline concussion testing for youth athletes and club sports teams. Dr. Alexander works with athletes to understand their individual strengths on and off the field. She focuses on identifying mental barriers and helping athletes overcome obstacles that may be affecting their performance both academically and athletically.
Emma Gurley (Performance coach)
Coach Emma completed her undergraduate degree in sociology and criminology with a minor in psychology. She has also completed a certificate in sports psychology and has been involved in the sports sector as an athlete, coach, and reseacher focusing on student-athlete mental health and development. After completing her research, Emma founded Mighty Minds, a sports-based enrichment program designed to support early childhood development through structured physical activity with integration of evidence-based tools that assess gross motor development, self-confidence, teamwork, and emotion regulation. At CSBH Emma conducts sports psychological evaluations, provides performance coaching for athletes, and evaluates mental health programs.
